2025《环球之星》国际旗袍大赛在洛杉矶成功举办The 2025 “Global Star” International Qipao Competition Successfully Held in Los Angeles

The 2025 “Global Star” International Qipao Competition and Awards Gala, hosted by the Global Star Foundation and the U.S. Guose Tianxiang Cultural and Arts Association, was grandly held on August 17 at the Hilton San Gabriel Hotel.
This marks the second time the organizers have hosted a large-scale national qipao competition in the United States. Over 300 distinguished guests attended the event, including Consuls Chen Fenghua and Xia Fan from the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, U.S. Congresswoman Judy Chu, California State Senator Bob Archuleta, California State Assemblyman Phillip Chen, and representative Lisa Yang on behalf of California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, as well as community leaders and guests from various sectors.
由《环球之星》基金会、美国国色天香文化艺术联合会主办的2025年《环球之星》国际旗袍大赛及颁奖晚宴，8月17日在圣盖博喜莱登大酒店隆重举行。这是该会第二次举办全美国的大型旗袍比赛。中国驻洛杉矶总领馆领事陈风华和夏凡、美国国会议员赵美心、加州参议员Bob Archuleta、加州众议员方树强以及加州财政部长马世云的代表Lisa Yang等政要和各界人士300多人出席。

Lian Zhang, Chairwoman of the U.S. Finals Organizing Committee of Global Star and President of the U.S. Guose Tianxiang Cultural and Arts Association, stated that the purpose of hosting this event is to promote traditional Chinese culture in the United States. She emphasized that the goal is to help qipao art gain recognition and appreciation within mainstream American society, and to encourage second- and third-generation Chinese Americans to learn about, understand, and love traditional Chinese culture.
According to Ms. Zhang, this year’s Global Star International Qipao Competition included both individual and group categories, featuring seven qipao performance teams and individual contestants, with a total of 136 participants. Contestants came from California, Texas, Washington, Maryland, and New York, ranging in age from 10 to 86 years old. Even two days before the competition, participants from other states continued to register enthusiastically—demonstrating the growing influence and appeal of the event.
Ms. Zhang further noted that the Global Star International Qipao Model Competition is the only professional, nationwide qipao modeling contest officially held in the United States. The Organizing Committee adheres to principles of fairness, impartiality, transparency, and professional standards, supported by a panel of highly qualified judges. She described it as a truly high-caliber competition that showcases the elegance and charm of qipao culture.
《环球之星》组委会美国总决赛主席、美国国色天香文化艺术联合会会长张莉安表示，主办这次活动的目的，就是致力于在美国弘场中华传统文化，让旗袍艺术逐渐被美主流社会接受与欣赏，让在美国的华二代，华三代了解、学习、热爱中华传统文化。她介绍说，本次旗袍大赛分为个人赛和团体赛，包括7个旗袍艺术团队和个人参赛选手，总共136位佳丽参加比赛。参赛选手来自加州、德州、华盛顿州，马里兰州和纽约州等，年龄跨度从10岁到86岁。直到比赛前2天，还有外州选手火速赶来报名参赛，显示了这项赛事的影响力。
张莉安表示，《环球之星》国际旗袍模特大赛是全美唯一正规专业的、全国性的旗袍模特走秀比赛。《环球之星》组委会以公平公正，公开透明，坚持专业水准为原则，评委阵容强大。这是一次高水平的比赛。
