On September 1, 2025, National Labor Day in the United States, the annual Labor Day Parade & Picnic Rally, organized by the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Labor Coalition, was grandly held at The Banning Museum and Banning Park in Wilmington, California.
Wendy Wang, Chairwoman and Founder of the Youth Education & Empowerment Foundation (CIRC), led her team to participate in the event. The gathering brought together thousands of union members, workers, and families from major labor organizations across Southern California, including SEIU, ILWU, UFCW, Utility Workers Union of America Local, and the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA).
