CIRC Youth Education & Empowerment Foundation & Youth Safety Education Forum
We are preparing for the Official Opening Ceremony of the CIRC Youth Education & Empowerment Foundation & Youth Safety Education Forum on November 19, 2025 (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM) at St. Paul High School.
This event will include 60–100 high school students, school staff, nonprofit partners, and community organizations.
purpose of the event
1. To help students understand public safety and how government works
Most students are not familiar with the roles of police, fire, and other agencies.
Government participation helps them learn about:
• How public safety is protected
• Responsibilities of different departments
• Available community resources
2. To build communication and trust with youth
Many Asian American families and youth rarely have direct interaction with government agencies.
Face-to-face communication helps:
• Build trust
• Improve understanding
• Encourage future civic engagement
3. To introduce career pathways
Departments such as the Sheriff’s Department and Fire Department offer meaningful and stable career opportunities. Students will be able to:
• Learn about career options
• Ask questions
• Explore volunteer or internship opportunities
4. To strengthen long-term community partnerships
Government involvement helps:
• Connect students with more resources
• Build long-term support networks
• Create collaboration between schools, nonprofits, and agencies
5. To give the event greater credibility and impact
Their presence will help the event become more recognized and more impactful, creating a strong foundation for future youth programs.
